Wiring Diagrams

Here is a useful way of describing how phase and series/parallel wiring is done pickups. The color codes are for some of the popular brands of four-wire humbuckers, but two single coil pickups could be wired in any of these configurations as well. The last diagram (Out of Phase, Series) is the normal mode for humbucking pickups.
